Everyone calls her George rather than Georgina because she has always wanted to be a boy, so she dresses like one and spends all her spare time with Timothy (Tim) her beloved dog, outdoors, with animals and nature. Over the summer holidays George gets together with her cousins: Julian, Dick and Anne and they have fun and this always leads to a shared adventure.

George is wiry and energetic, she likes wild water and is a confident swimmer, she enjoys outdoor pursuits like boating, caving and island hopping. Despite having Tim constantly by her side, George is independent and stands up for herself. She has a temper however, is rather bossy; but is a natural leader.

George is inquisitive and impatient and has no time for what she deems as being silly girl stuff. George has a big heart and beneath all the bravado she is kind and caring.
