Book Review - Dogs On Jumpers
Review
of Dogs on Jumpers
This hard back book is rather catching with the
illustration of a child playing with a dog on the front. The presentation is
well thought out and is very detailed. I
particularly like the high glossed photographs of the finished knitted items.

There are 18 different dog designs all can be worked in
graphs provided. There are sizes of
graphs for adult sizes and for a child or baby size. Also included are
letters of the alphabet which is extremely useful to have.
I like the lay out of the book going through the process
of choosing not only which dog to use but what style of jumper. Then to make it more personalised you can
choose if you want contract edges, back ground round the dog, or
lettering. This can make your garment
unique.
Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Patterns for this design are: Man's Jumper, Woman's Long/Loose Jumper and Woman's Raglan Jumper |
I was very pleased with the technical advice through the
book and was easy to follow. The
patterns are varied and are for the whole family. There is even a pattern for a dog coat!
All in all I think this book is very versatile and good
value for money.
